Mum’s the Word Comedy - 20 min 2f, 1m

Everybody knows the Tournament of Roses Parade. But ever heard of the Carnival of Chrysanthemums in nearby Claremont, California?

Jinx Riley, gal Friday, is in love with her boss. He's a fast-talking conman who wears a smile as well as he wears a suit. She's a Joan Blondell-type of dame who can out-talk even him. Unfortunately, he's got his eye on a beauty queen. Their mission: in the midst of the Depression, make the Chrysanthemum Parade bigger than its Pasadena rival.

Mum’s the Word by Kitty Felde is the cleverest.
